This is bare-bones fishing, most appropriate for hard core fish chasers. What the panga fleet might lack in luxury is balanced by speed, plenty of room to cast or drop, and total versatility. Start in Bahia Tortugas, a serene bay where yellowtail ambush lures near kelp beds, and grouper lurk in rocky depths. This northern gateway, with its cooperative-backed panga charters like Annelle SportFishing, delivers offshore thrills for tuna and dorado alongside inshore battles.
